Anyone else gone gluten and dairy free to help improve symptoms
Hi,
It has been suggested to me and i have talked to people who havegone gluten and dairy free that has helped their symptoms. justlooking for anyone here who has and interested if it has made a difference? if it has could you share some menu's or give me some ideas? and how long did it take for you to see improvement? i have some general ideas on what to buy but looking for more before i head out. its been suggested to me because i have hypothyroidism which until recently has been out of whack, hyperplasia with possibilityof autoimmune gastritis, possible sjorgens syndrome and maybe lichen sclorus. im waiting on specialists to confirm but i have to wait for appointments which is so hard. its kind of like starting fresh. in 15 months of being sick i have gotten little help so im traveling 3 hours to boston where i can get better help its just hard waiting for these appointments.i am seeing a naturpath dr in a few weeks never been to one so not sure what to expect but i think he is better than who previously i have seen. sorry to ramble just hoping someone here relates tome and can help me out. thank you!

HI Susan,
yes it does help thank you. my naturpath dr who i saw for the first time on friday also highly recommended being totally gluten and dairy free. i started it about 2 1/2 weeks ago and im glad i did. i have so much wrong with me GI, autoimmune, it goes on i though this would help i know its still probobly too early to tell but i think eventually i will be glad. i still cant eat to much due to autoimmune gastritis but do the best i can. no sugar, no gluten or dairy i think is the way to go. thank you for telling me your experience. Eileen
Eileen, I would love to know how the gluten-free aspect of this experiment works for you -- specifically, is it worth giving up our beloved bread! Haha. But seriously, I have been wondering if taking this last step would make a significant difference. Keep in touch if possible and let me know -- although it may be difficult to figure out if the benefits are from giving up dairy vs gluten. Good luck! Susan
I have GI and auto immune issues. Covid has destroyed me. I am on the no gluten/ grain or dairy diet. It’s been about a month now. I eat but continue to loose weight a feel awful still. I am not sure what else they can do. But this is terrible to live with.
I can understand. i have major Giissues autoimmune etc. things keep popping up especially since i lost my gallbladder injanuary. never had covid but all my problems started shortly after the second shot. it is awful lost about 40pounds unintentionally cause i cant eat the way i used to do to the stomach issues

Well texted!
Wow
That's it in a nutshell
So what do we do now?
This is true....i was suprised in recent imaging for my neuro-endocrine cancer the ultrasound of my head and neck showed dark circles around surgical clips that remained in my neck after 3 neck disections. She said my body was reacting to the metals. I obtained autoimmune inflamatory disease post a Violent adverse reaction to a Tdapp vaccine....it also resulted in digestive issues, body wide inflamation, including skin changes, and neuropothies...i was diagnosed with neuro-endocrine cancer two months after the shot, a nodule developed in my thyroid, and in left neck....i have had 3 neck disections....so i deal with a lot of swelling and lymph fluid. For me it has been very helpful to eliminate any processed foods as possible, i do not do a lot of dairy, and try as much as possible to stick to an anti inflamatory diet...or include foods that have beneficial anti-inflamatory qualities....a big one is to eliminate as much sugar as possible...plant based, i eat a lot of sea-food, but one must be careful of murcury content....
You may have reactivated the Epstein-Barr virus with Covid, which happens with many sufferers. A good resource for healing protocols is an EBV research spport grop, Stuff that Works. The EBV virus can stay active after Covid for years if yo do not treat for it. Healing protocols avalable wth Stuff that works. Alao empathy and support. Hope you have relief and healng soon.
When my bowels shut down from too many supplements, I stop all supplements, halve my HBP meds, and go on a water fast. Only eat in a day a few organc prunes and dates, coconut, cashews, distilled and SPellagrino water, and keep my mind as quiet as possible. THE LIVER REGENERATES if given some relief from food and meds. I keep this up sometimes for 5 days at a tme. I will be 90 yo in 1 1/2 mos and I have been Moderna 1 severely vaccine injured.
That is the nutshell question, what do we do now? I am becoming a researcher of protocols that work for viruses and autoimmune diseases. I have also attempted to keep my emotions as level and quiet as I can. When I reach the point that I cannot digest compliant foods and my supplement list is a mile long, its time for a distilled/S Pellagrino water fast. Usually can eat (organic) prunes- dates- coconut, cashews. If not, just the water up to three days. Inching away at symptoms. Being alive and sick is a better choice for me than dead, so I am doing my best to climb out of the pit, while keeping my spirits up. If yu want to know what works for me, the list is long, but I m willng to share. All th best to you. It's a long hard road ahead.
