@roshkhan I am diabetic and have a history of hypertension (the two leading causes of CKD). My local healthcare team includes an endocrinologist and nephrologist. I also have access to a nutritionist that is knowledgeable about diabetes & CKD. I try to comply with labs, medications and dietary recommendations. The most helpful thing for me has been my faith. I am a Christian and have put my life and every aspect of it in God’s hands. I believe it is my responsibility to take care of myself the best I can and make use of all the medical / health resources I can find then leave the results in God’s hands. From 2016 - the present my eGFR has bounced around between 14 - 42. It is currently 29. I don’t need to understand God’s timing & plan for me to trust that it is ultimately for my good.
There are some medications that may cause dizziness and/or frequent urination ending up with dehydration. I was in Stage 4 with Farxiga and Torsemide (a diuretic) on separate occasions, each time causing me restlessness and fatigue. I stopped those medications on separate times and my labs last week showed my eGFR in Stage 3A . I try to drink 70 ounces of water daily.
