@martyk I had a fusion of the L5 S1 in November 2010 and have been in pain ever since. In 2012, I had my 2nd back surgery at Northwestern in Chicago, IL.
In 2014, I had a Boston Scientific stimulator implanted. In 2020, I had a new BS stimulator implanted that is MRI compatible. As far as pain control?.... it does help somewhat,
BUT.... I am on pain medicine, and the stimulator doesn't help without the medicine intervention. I wish I could just use the stimulator to control my back pain, but that's not going to happen.
