Hi Merry,,,,,, remember me. Guess what , after a couple of years of quiet in the lungs, I had my ct scan last month and something to start watching again. They took m y records to a meeting this after to see if this a wait and see or lets do something now. So I am waiting for a phone call. I am guessing thats its going to be another wait and see and do the scan again in 3 months. I had a round of copd this last winter and that took about 4 months to get thru ,,,, in and out of hospital. Otherwise its a day at a time and I am now in assisted living which is a very big adjustment. My prayers are with you and everyone here........ Keep in touch Merry............ Joan

Hi Joan- It's nice to hear from you. I am sorry that my reply has taken so long. When I received a notice of your post I had just returned home from a week of SBRT for what turned out to be 2 lesions very near my heart. Any new lesion is a kick in the lung, but especially after a length of time. We seem to go on with our life and fool ourselves that we might escape any returns or new lesions. I did that in between my first and second lung cancers. There was a ten-year quiet in my lungs! I was stunned.

I'm sorry that your life has changed in ways that might not have been expected. But, you are safe and taken care of. COPD is tough and I hope that you are keeping in touch with this group too! It will be new for you.
