cramping with no ovaries, cervix, or uterus?

@kimsmith

I had hysterectomy more than 10 yrs ago, but when I am around anyone esp family members that are menstruating I get their symptoms. Cramps, bloating, back pain, chocolate cravings and grumpiness, even the pre PMS stuff. I usually tell them, \"pls take a pill, you\'re killing me here\". Not sure what I can do about it, but would love some ideas. Would be great if it was just psychosomatic, but the pain and other symptoms are very real to me.

I don\'t have those problems but 40 years after a total Hysterectomy I still experience a sharp pain on the left side of my body just below my rib cage. No amount of X-rays,mris,etc reveal what causes this.. It\'s worse in the am when I wake and get up. The pain seems to have increased over the years but as I am now 84 yo it obviously is not fatal. I go to a senior exercise class 3 x a week one of which includes light yoga and meditation. This is not a cure but it does relieve anxiety. So maybe this could help you a bit.

My daughters live with me. I have had a total hysterectomy. I cramp during their cycle. Plus, all of the above.
