Does anyone use Singulair (Montelukast Sodium) for seasonal allergies? There are strong warnings regarding this medication for side effects.

Absolutely. I have used it for asthma and allergies, along with several other meds, for about 40 years without noticeable problems.

I have MAC and bronch and I've been using Singulair for some time. I've been worried about the side effects and asked my doctor. He said it is a safe medication, but my doubts remain. Has anyone had a problem with depression and disturbed sleep with Singulair? I'm thinking of stopping it for now to see if my sleep improves. "Depression" is a clinically sounding word but I certainly have times when I feel discouraged, which must be normal for anyone dealing with MAC, so may not be due to Singulair.
