Hi Sue
I finally was able to see my pulmonologist this past Tuesday. I am on several medications. He prescribed an oral antibiotic, Ceftin, albuterol/ipatrium, prednisone and budesonide in addition to my normal morning routine of 7% saline and 3% in the evening.
I have been trying to research the right order to take all of these inhaled medicines, but get conflicting information on the COPD Foundation website. Since staring the Budesonide there has been a considerable improvement in the wheezing and coughing.
Is there an order in which to nebulize the budesonide and the albuterol/ipatrium? The pulmonologist did not give me any directions in that regard. Thank you, JoAnn

My instructions were always 1 Albuterol to open the airways, 2 budosenide, 3 saline, 4 airway clearance.
