Neuropathy Feet and legs

Posted by danwealthy @danwealthy, Oct 6, 2022

Hi my feet and legs are like on pin and needles. I have lower back issues L4-L5 which shots in the low back have been unsuccessful. One of my doctors advised me to get some cream or something that has Capsaicin in it to help bloc the nerve signal. The one I choose was PainBloc 24 unfortunately they have stopped production. Im looking for anything I can replace it with any suggestions? I want a roll on or spray because I cant reach my back with a frozen shoulder!

Welcome @danwealthy, Sorry to hear you can no longer get PainBloc 24. Hopefully other members who have found a spray or roll-on that is helpful can share their experience with you.

Since the active ingredient was .25% Capsaicin, have you thought about seeing if your local pharmacist or your doctor may have some suggestions?

You may try AMAZON for the PainBlock24 the site still shows it can be still ordered, of course I do not know where you are located, it may be a try for you, AMAZON shows several other applications that contain Capsaicin. Hopefully you can find some relief.

Have you had an MRI of your L4,5? I did and it showed compression. I am having back surgery in November to open up the spinal column which is compressed.Minimal surgery. One month recovery with no driving etc.

You are most fortunate and hopefully it will solve which presumably is neuropathy? I feel that is what I have though I was told no. I think there is compression though because I feel it when lying against my back. I wish I could convince them

I am in chronic pain with peripheral neuropathy. I have had it for over two years and it's got worse. The pins and needles and pain in my feet and lower legs is excrutiating. Does anyone else suffer with this condition?

John - I ordered PainBloc 24 on Amazon yesterday. I think they had about 3 left - .25% Capsaicin. I use it for lower back pain. Ed

I got Rugby Capsaicin cream 0.025 at the local Pharmacy. Going to try a Sodium Topical Gel (1%) also. Never give in
