Does medical marijuana work for chronic pain?

I realize that negative responses are rare on this sight but I was on medical grass for 1 year and for me it enhanced the pain. I smoked back in the 70s and it made me paranoid and enhanced things. I got off it 6 months into the program. That does not mean it won’t work for you. Hope it does.

Yeah, that was my experience back in college, 1970’s Austin. Everyone was smoking pot, but me. Hated it.

I did try the lotion from the pharmacy, but it did nothing. I also tried something sublingual, maybe an oil or tincture, zero help. I’ll try the pills/gummies next, maybe…

Pain docs are not helpful anymore. They only want to do high $$$ “procedures”. If you don’t have good health ins and a good job, you’re screwed.

Oxycodone is the only thing that has ever helped me, but I am a poor metabolizer so makes sense. At 69, I never abused it, always had good drug tests, but my doc died and new doc won’t prescribe.

It’s time for this chronic pain situation to be re-examined. CBD is not the answer for all.
