I honestly think those who have pain from their pacemaker is due to where and how the doctor placed the pacemaker. some always place it under the muscle and others do not, I think you will find that when they are placed under the muscle it has a higher chance of causing pain. just my opinion from reading patients descriptions of their pacemaker case.

Thank you, my cardiologist has agreed to move my pacemaker. I wouldn't do it but the pain has increased over the last year. This is my 2nd pacemaker and I never had a problem with the first, and it lasted 8 years.
