@johbbishop, and all...Interesting bit of information for you. My son had very bad discomfort, pain, aching, tingling, etc. in both feet and lower legs from neuropathy from an unknown source. Probably involved with his overall diagnosis of cervical dystonia, etc.

I started him using compression socks I found online and other places. They helped but were not satisfactory. Surprise! He's a baseball fan, Marlins of Miami are prominent in his wardrobe and life.

I noticed the socks the players were wearing were staying up and looked snug. I wondered if perhaps they, as pro athletes, used compression socks for protection and support. He ordered several pairs and low and behold, they are better than anything purchased as compression socks. He wears them daily now and is definitely feeling the help from compression. Don't know how they're made, how they're different. But, they are.

So, an interesting side-note on your discussion. A baseball sock is the best help for his needs. I'm thrilled. I'm amazed. Quite surprised.
