You said, "He replied that he is not, but has “studied medicine” all his life. 🙄" My kids say "He got his degree at Google U"

If you want to dive into a really deep ocean of more scientific information, you can try searching at google.scholar.com Here is an example of what I found by using the words MGUS and curcumin:

Thank you! I will check that out.

In reply to @sueinmn . Thank you for this information. All of my recent labs showed all very low values of the IGG subclasses with the exception of IGG4. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my doctor asked me to come in to discuss the results, but when I got there he told me he did not understand them, thus the referral to a hematologist. With the amount of time it took me to see a hepatologist, I am not holding much hope for an appointment anytime soon. This is not to say I am not concerned, but with so many issues I have found too much information can be overwhelming. I figure as long as I still wake up everyday, can continue with my art and gardening projects, lift weights, walk etc., then I am more fortunate than others in many ways. While I understand the dietary issues, I have no appetite, thus the drastic weight loss. In any event, thank you for the citation of this article you posted. It appears to be very informative and I appreciate this very much.
