DAWN PHENOMENON WHICH IS NOT AN UNCOMMON EXPERIENCE FOR TYPE 11 DIABETICS AND CAN BE CAUSED BY MANY MANY DIFFERENT FACTORS. I HAVE EXPERIENCED IT FOR 22 YEARS AND HANDLE IT WITH INSULIN PRIOR TO BEDTIME. I USE HUMULIN NPH BUT I ASSUME THERE ARE OTHER TYPES THAT WOULD WORK.
ANY EXPERIENCED DIABETIC WILL TELL YOU TO REVIEW AND MONITOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE PREVIOUS TO ANY UNUSUAL EXPERIENCE AND CONDUCT YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY THEREAFTER TO AVOID OR REDUCE THE SEVERITY OF ANY SUCH EXPERIENCE. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS VERY SIMPLISTIC BUT IT IS A DISCIPLINE THAT DIABETICS MUST FOLLOW AND IT CAN BE EASILY DISRUPTED. GOOD LUCK.

@ltssjs good post and recommendations. Just please don’t use all caps. That is perceived as yelling at someone. 😉
