Life is Good!

A beautiful September day in Illinois - sun is shining, there's a hint of fall at dawn/dusk, a walk with the dog, a ride on my horse. It's the simple things that we appreciate post-transplant, along with the big events. Feeling thankful and grateful today - for my family, my donor family, my friends, my faith, my Mayo care team, my life. Hope you are all having a good moment or two today!

I too am 6 months post-liver transplant and incredibly thankful for having my life back. Life is sweeter, the grass greener and the skies bluer! Forever indebted to my donor and his or her family for making that final gift. The Mayo Jax transplant team is amazing. So very grateful.
