Interesting topic, @ellamster In my wife's case, music of any kind, volume, etc. was too intrusive to her and raised her anxiety levels beyond belief, so she lived in silence. No music, TV, etc.

It was defiantly something I missed during all those years.

Oh, yes.
Music has a strong effect, if you missed it for so long what makes you happy now? What do you listen to?
