PPI's can cause magnesium depletion, which can cause heart arrhythmias. Google it, some scientific articles on it.

Many thanks for the interesting link between PPI’s and Magnesium deficiency.
Is this part of the reason that magnesium supplements can assist in reducing ectopic beats?
