@cctoo, a urethral caruncle is a small, benign vascular growth that usually occurs at the back part of the urethra. Your urethra is the duct through which urine exits your body. It can be hard to visually determine whether the growth is truly a urethral caruncle or another type of lesion, such as a carcinoma (a type of cancer tumor). A biopsy can confirm if the growth is benign or cancerous.
Do you have this? Was a biopsy done?
Went to two gym and one said menopause caused and gave estrogen cream...other said just have urologist cut off! Does not hurt now
Hello, I am going through this currently. Would you be interested in writing to me? Mine is benign or so the doctor thinks at this point. However, I am a nervous type. So worried...no symptoms. Thanks if you wish to comment and share your experience,
Karin
@karinben, has a biopsy been done?
