Comparison of NSAIDs and non NSAIDs for pain
Could someone help me to understand the pros and cons of ibuprofen, naproxen and others in that category? I don't understand the complications. I also don't understand about anti-inflammatories and plain old painkiller. I have inflammation in my knee and hip, but am beginning to wonder if anti-inflammatories over the counter medication is good for me.

Be sure to have your kidney and liver function tested. It may cause trouble. Naproxen real rough on kidneys.
The liver and kidney problems are a possibility but the dosage you are taking is not very high. I stopped taking NSAIDS because I have high blood pressure and anti-inflammatory can make it worse. I would do the surgery as soon as possible. Also if you don't know if your doctor gives you straight answers it may be time to get a new doctor. You have to trust him/her.
If you trusted your doctor you wouldn't have this anxiety. I know because I have terrible anxiety and in a situation like yours I would be worrying and obsessing over it. Good luck!
I've been taking nsaids (aleeve) for almost 40 years. Only issue I have had is when I don't take them. I have been on so many different "pain" killers too. I would rather take the nsaids than narcotics any day. I have had a hip replacement, 3 back surgeries, a neck surgery, many other issues due to an inherited condition called Ehlers Danlos. It's a connective tissue disorder. Pain was an everyday intense problem for me. I recently tried cbd oil gummies. They have helped me immensely. I no longer take any pain meds and my depression has subsided immensely. Doc also had me try antiinflammatory diet. I was also told and researched that pain meds after a long time of using will no longer work and can actually cause more pain which increases the use and dosage of them. Therefore it leads to an addictive state. Wishing you all the best !!
Where do you get cbd oil gummies? In a store? Or on line? I have been taking Tylenol for more than a year, day and night for constant headache pain. I’m worried about liver damage tho I keep dosage under 3000. I want to try Cbd, but don’t know where to start to get the best.
I had a reaction to Naproxen-my face swelled up.

Very knowledgeable and pleasant man. Ask him any questions you want and he's happy to answer. If he doesn't know he doesn't lead you on and will try to find answer for you.
He doesn't open shop till 10 a.m. CST.
My sister in Florida and a friend in IL both have gotten from him.
Good luck and best wishes. Hoping you get as much success as I have from them.
God bless !!
Thank you so much for info on CBD and Phil. Will call him. Hope it works for me! I have a CBD store a few blocks away, but I prefer a personal referral. Btw, I live in Burbank, Ca.
You were right ..Phil spent over an hour talking to me about CBD …he recommended the oil tincture for me to try. Thanks, nice man!
Can I get a feedback from people who use a combination of Naproxen.
gabapentin and also using acetaminophen.
Currently I take 2-220 mgs of Naproxen twice a day along with 100 mgs of Gabapentin and varying amounts of acetaminophen depending on arthritis pain.
Hi. I take the same combination, but in different amounts. 500mg Naproxen 2 to 3 times a day, 400mg Gabapentin 3 times a day, and 650mg acetaminophen 2 to 3 times a day.
