Hashimoto and weird nerve issues/neck pains
For the pass two years I being hunting down some odd headaches, numbness and pins & needles, tremors that radiate from my neck up to may head mainly lower jaw/checks. This symptoms are reproducible with lateral flexion and rotation of the neck when I lay down in bed and sometimes while standing. The right side of the neck is middle painful and hurts when pressed. It seems to be a nerve compression issue. A cervical MRI shows some spinal canal and neural foraminal narrowing but the doctor doesnt think is significant or that it correlates w symptoms, except that this year MRI shows a hemangioma in C6. Physical therapy has done nothing for me. I had very little luck with medications as the ones that sort of work turn me into a useless zombie!
I have a Hashimoto/Goitier thyroiditis for the pass 4 years that has progressed quite aggressively. My last US (june) documents 3 main nodules, on on each lobe both greater than 5cm and classified as TI-RAD 4, and one on the isthmus > than 6cm classified as TI-RAD 5.
Im back with my Endocrinologist and ENT trying to figure this out. It is very frustrating and Im in pain every day.
I was hoping some advice on how to tackle this conversation with my doctor or suggestions on what to do next.

....may i ask where you had your food sensitivity test done? i have ignored daughter's pleas to cut out gluten and etc., without proof! but have so many issues to deal with am now wondering....but i do not eat something then feel ill... so it seems complicated to figure out which food it is and at my late age, is it worth it.
I had my food sensitivity test done by my functional medicine/chiropractor. There are many different brands out there. This is what came up when I goggled different brands;
"A food sensitivity occurs when your immune system reacts to a specific food, causing a variety of adverse symptoms.
Similar to food allergies, food sensitivities are believed to be caused by an immune reaction driven by antibodies such as immunoglobulin G (IgG), immunoglobulin M (IgM), and immunoglobulin A (IgA), along with other cell-mediated reactions in the body (1Trusted Source, 2Trusted Source).
Unlike food allergies, food sensitivities are not life threatening, but they can cause unpleasant symptoms.
For example, non-celiac gluten sensitivity — a food sensitivity triggered by a type of protein found in wheat, barley, and rye — has been linked to symptoms such as bloating, stomach pain, brain fog, depression, and skin inflammation (3Trusted Source).
Though more studies are needed on food sensitivities, research suggests that some people may be sensitive to other foods, including nightshade vegetables and lectins — a type of proteins found in many plant foods, such as legumes (4Trusted Source, 5Trusted Source, 6Trusted Source).
Food allergy
A food allergy is a type of immune response triggered by the proteins found in a specific food (7Trusted Source).
Many food allergies are mediated by increased production of an antibody called immunoglobulin E (IgE). However, some types of food allergies may be caused by other types of immune reactions as well (7Trusted Source, 8Trusted Source).
Food allergies often cause symptoms such as digestive issues, hives, and swelling, which can occur within minutes of consuming an allergen (9Trusted Source).
Severe food allergies can also cause anaphylaxis, a very serious allergic reaction that requires immediate medical attention (10).
Though it’s possible to be allergic to a variety of foods, the following foods account for about 90% of food allergies (11):
milk and other dairy products
eggs
peanuts
fish
shellfish
wheat
tree nuts
soy
sesame
Food intolerance
Unlike a food allergy or a food sensitivity, a food intolerance doesn’t involve the immune system.
Food intolerances affect up to 20% of the population and occur when your body cannot digest a specific food. This is often due to a lack of certain enzymes required to break it down (12Trusted Source).
For example, lactose intolerance is a common food intolerance characterized by the inability to digest milk or dairy products, resulting in digestive issues like gas and bloating (13Trusted Source).
This occurs when your body doesn’t make enough lactase, which is the enzyme used to break down lactose into the simple sugars glucose and galactose (13Trusted Source).
Some other common sources of food intolerance are (14):
fructose, a type of sugar found in fruits
caffeine
sulfites
food additives, including certain preservatives and artificial colors
What is a food sensitivity test?
Food sensitivity tests typically check how your immune system responds to different types of food.
A food sensitivity is driven by cell-mediated reactions and antibodies such as IgG, IgM, and IgA. On the other hand, an allergic reaction is often caused by IgE (2Trusted Source)."
