Is this RLS (restless leg syndrome)?

@gg2

I have tried the soap but it didn't work for me. I have also tried Ropinerole in various Mg. It worked for a short time and then stopped working. Have had this since I was 18 and I am 73 now. It is getting worse and I can't sleep. The doctor prescribed Klonopin again and sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone have anything that you have tried that actually works?

@gg2 Restless leg syndrome is really awful, isn’t it? I often comment that i should keep track of the miles i walk at night! Well, I went to see a new neurologist who specializes in movement disorders. She told me to start taking iron tablets daily because the blood iron level needs to be higher than the normal value.
You might give your doctor a call to ask about iron. Be sure to get their approval because some chronic health conditions are worsened with iron.
Do you do anything special to try to stop your legs from moving?

I use Lyrica. Since the first day I used it I have never had another issue with restless legs.

Klonopin should only be taken temporarily.

Lyrica or pregablin works for me. I take it for a neurological condition so it was a surprise to me that once I started on pregabalin I never had another issue with RLS.

Whatever you do do not take Requip! I took it for 17 years and then 2 years ago Boom! I had a gambling addiction! Not funny! It was discovered by Mayo Clinic. Unfortunately I was too late to get in on the class action law suit against the manufacturer. Now there is a warning on it that it causes hyper sexuality, addictive gambling, etc. I am tapering off it onto Lyrica and hope I done acquire another set of dose-effects. Beware!

When Requip quit working for me, i started taking Mirapex and havent had to up the dose at all, still on lowest dose. Also i take a 5mg Ambien.
