Amen! There is no way I’m doing a bone marrow biopsy without anesthesia. I’ve already told my oncologist that he can just quit fantasizing about being so skilled I won’t feel it.
Just say no!
I woke up in the middle of an endoscopy once. That is a treat to be awake when they’re pulling that apparatus out of your throat. 😳

I’m with you! My oncologist thought he was gifted too. Hahahahah. He got his chance to prove it on 3 different occasions. Nope!! No more fingernail imprints in my palms. 😂

After that, fortunately, the other 10 were done at Mayo while I was in slumberland. That is the only way to fly!! 😂

Oh yikes, waking up halfway through the endoscopy??!! 😳

Gotta say that I will happily go through a bone marrow biopsy with my oncologist. He was absolutely aces! I have had 3 of them done by him, all without any adjunct medication, and was just fine.

And, definitely with you on waking up in the middle of an endoscopy. That happened to me, also, during a "turnaround". Endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure combined. Not my idea of a fun time, nope, no sir! The shining light was the taxi driver who took me to the hospital, who insisted he be the one to pick me up and deliver me home again, even if it was after his regular work shift.
