Hello @canada2022 and welcome to Connect. As I read your post, I can understand why you are reaching out and looking for suggestions and support. While we are not medical professionals, but patients like yourself, we can share our experiences but not diagnose health issues.

With that said, I can see that you have had a difficult time getting appointments and the necessary evaluations. Is it possible to get an appointment at a multi-disciplinary health care center like a university medical school or a facility like Mayo Clinic?

You mentioned the problem of mucus and I'm wondering if you have any speech or swallowing problems?

Hi Theresa
Thx for replying.
No speech or swallowing problems, just the crazy throat mucus and bad nasal congestion. Here in Canada we don’t access to the private setups they do in the U.S.
We have free healthcare but the wait times can be long,
and you can only see specialists with a referral from your doctor. So until I have my GERD appt in January, I was hoping to see if anyone has the same issues I do and could offer and advice on how they deal with it. Cheers !

My husband has the same thing! Says it’s like paste in his throat and he’s constantly clearing his throat! It keeps him up at night! His nose will close up and he has to use Afrin durning the night to breathe! He did take a Kenolog shot durning allergy season and that helped the stuffy nose for about 3 months! He has tried PPI’s to see if it’s gerd but that didn’t work either! Saw on the long Covid site that a lot of those people have it after getting Covid but his started before! Maybe someone out there might have something that works! Must be an awful feeling☹️
