Every time I hear of another story like mine I cringe.
I'm going to become a lobbyists one day because what was, has and is being done should be considered "CRUELTY TO HUMANS"!
I'm sorry you are experiencing the same thing. It hurts to the core that such people even exist.
Please take care of yourself first and foremost and if you are not receiving counseling please seek some help.
To have one's spirit broken in the workplace has many consequences including horrible thoughts that invade our minds.
Although horrible to say, you are not alone and its absolutely horrible that anyone in any country should have to endure what we have endured.
