I have constant severe burning in My right foot , mostly in the toes. My legs feel heavy and I have some discomfort in the calves and some in the hamstrings. My lower back has been a problem for awhile. I had two surgeries on the toes of the right foot. Two areas in 2016 and two areas in 2018. Not a good outcome for either surgeries. my pain is constant about a 4 to 5 during the day and later in the late afternoon and evening to a 6 or 7. So, for the past several years I cut a large 5% lidocaine patch in half and wrap the toes with it. and then put medical tape around it , then put on a sock and then an ice pack to numb the pain several times before getting some sleep. I do have issues with the lower back L4, L5, S1, arthritis and probably sciatica. I've tried RFA and epidurals, oxycontin, tramadol, medicinal marijuana. Nothing really helps. I have read about MILD, minimally invasive lumbar decompression. I have an August 10th appt. with a neuorsurgeon and will bring up the MILD treatment and see what he thinks. I think the lower back and sciatica is contributing about half of the burning in the toes and the weakness in the legs.

Bless you and zi hope all goes well and you get relief. I have similar issues with my back and ilon the 13 started having similar problems in my right leg. I have tried lidocaine patches, lidocaine pain creme, ibuprofen,. My regular pain meds won't touch the nerve pain. I am going for imaging soon. God Bless You!
