@thegreattonsil I guess technically yes I had stopped the Vancomycin for the c-diff infections in late May and my GI pains started on 8/24 so technically it was in the 3 months prior to my new pain. I just realized that after I initially replied to you.

Antibiotics for strep throat, followed by C-Diff that was most likely caused by the antibiotics for the strep throat, followed by antibiotics for the C-Diff... Yup. I've been down this road. I would guess that your gut needs some help replenishing the good flora (probiotics), and help digesting food (digestive enzymes). At least for 3 months to get things balanced again. And I would say that paying attention to diet and foods and triggers should be addressed again. Your symptoms ease up at night because you're not eating. To ease the digestive issues, switching to a partial liquid diet might help. Smoothies, nutrition shakes, etc. They helped me a great deal during the healing process. There are conventional and organic options.
