I have a similar condition, Aquagenic puritus, there is a Facebook group that discovered the Beta Alanine, which is usually used as a workout supplement and sold over the counter, works really well at controlling the itch. Who knows but it might help your issue as well...I’ve been taking it for 3 years with no issues...I take 750mg with any sign of itch and 1500 mg when I know it will be triggered...like before a shower.
Hi @help22. Welcome to Mayo Connect, a place where we all share our medical experiences and look for understanding of our problems, hopes, and aspiration for healthy living -- not to recommend diagnoses or treatments, which are the province of highly education medical professionals whom we seek as team mates. I hope you have had the time to review the postings on this discussion about Brachioradial pruritis. Even so, you may wish to check up on this posting from the Cleveland Clinic on the subject: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/21181-brachioradial-pruritus.
