Wake up with a "cold " every morning using CPAP

Hi Kudzu,
Cute pen name!
It seems to me the problem with the Phillips PAP was that it exuded a toxic stink. When I tried the air sense 10 in my DME’s office it stank of plastic. In my experience that odor does not dissipate over time. That’s why I continue to use my wonderful and compactly designed ResMed S9 AutoSet. All I can suggest to you is to be sure you insist on hypoallergenic filters because they filter out the dust. If you can see through the filters you have been receiving, they can not do as good a job filtering to keep dust out of your machine. Hope that helps!

Good idea about the filters.
My concern is about the machines themselves, any of them.
If you’re interested, go to YouTube-Nick’s teamed CPAP reviews. On one of them he takes apart a resmed 9 or 10 (I’m not suggesting anyone attempt this) and the gunk all over the turbine blades is sickening. Just made me think.

Is the Med S9 AutoSet made in the USA with higher quality plastics? Did you pay out of pocket so you could get what you wanted. Im assuming my Philips resperonics is made in China with cheap materials, causing the foul odor I'm breathing all night.
