@callalloo, I used to use baking soda, but then I saw this article so now I'm a bit worried about it. Because I'm new to this forum, I can't post the link but you go to the NIH site and search for article PMC3770998. I hope that I didn't give bad advice. But here's an article from Mayo Clinic that gives much more information for anyone contemplating trying baking soda in lieu of prescription and OTC acid blockers. And, as always, its best to check with your doctor.
