I was just told on Friday that my pft showed restrictive lung disease. I don’t know what type yet but I’ve been taking Amiodarone for a heart rhythm problem since Feb 2021. The reason for the pft was to check lung function due to use of that drug.
I’m hoping that’s what it is, as Amiodarone damage is sometimes reversible with stopping the drug.
Any input on this? I’m scared and depressed. Also confused as the technician doing the test said I did very well.
