@cholita. Hello and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.

I'd like to understand your question better. What happened to your skin and hair following the hysterectomy and early menopause? Are you wondering at this point if there are alternatives to hormone replacement treatment (HRT) to improve your skin and hair problems? And finally have you talked with your gynecologist or your primary care physician about what you can do?

Thank you for your response. My beautiful hair came in very sparse and curly; curly is fine, but sparse and balding are not great. My GP recommended wigs and my Dermotolagist recommended Rogaine. They all initially said I needed HRT until I reminded them of my estrogen related cancer.
