Hi @l0lag0lag0b3 😊
Is it possible that your abdomen pain during activity is caused by the mesh from your previous hernia surgery before transplant? Or just because you have a new kidney in that area now? (Without a bulge, I wouldn't think this is a new hernia).
Hi @jackie421blfdgurl 😊
Our friend l0lag0lag0b3 has a few questions about your successful hernia surgery....
Did a general surgeon fix your incisional hernia after your liver transplant? And if the hernia surgery was done at Mt. Sinai, was it done with with your transplant team's coordination? ....and were you happy with the result? Thanks Jackie!

Hello...the surgeon that did the liver transplant
Also did the hernia repair. My liver team was totally informed.the mensch implant and sewing of muscle..skin...etc was done by a very very handsome plastic surgeon ..he explained the area will expand and go back..! I had no pain from hernia ...just a bludge that was annoying...and yes surgery was at My. Sinai.
Happy...not so sure..doctors I believe did s great job sewing me back up..did not do a new scare used the same cut from liver. This was only done 6 mos. After liver so I was still healing from that!!!
But last June for hernia and yr. and a half for liver.i feel ok...no complaints.thankful...😍
