Hello: Hello1234

Another question that I should have presented is:

Was it done by urology surgeon or a general surgeon , was the transplant center in loop with the surgery.

In my case I had a mesh inserted in 2012 (before the KT), After the transplant & now with a (new lease on life) I engage in outdoor activities - so off late I seem to have pain in right front abdomen, not sure.. (no bulge as yet).

Just want to understand the logistics after the kidney transplant. (My case the graft is located in the center of the abdomen. (as I have a native pelvic kidney..a genetic drawback )
Thanks

Hi @l0lag0lag0b3 😊
Is it possible that your abdomen pain during activity is caused by the mesh from your previous hernia surgery before transplant? Or just because you have a new kidney in that area now? (Without a bulge, I wouldn't think this is a new hernia).
Hi @jackie421blfdgurl 😊
Our friend l0lag0lag0b3 has a few questions about your successful hernia surgery....
Did a general surgeon fix your incisional hernia after your liver transplant? And if the hernia surgery was done at Mt. Sinai, was it done with with your transplant team's coordination? ....and were you happy with the result? Thanks Jackie!
