Good Evening,
Last week I was evaluated by a neurologist and referred to the Covid Clinic.
I now have an appointment scheduled for October.
I am about 450 miles away so I’m needing to know about how long I should plan on being in Rochester. What does this appointment consist of.
Thank You in advance!

Hi @baseballmama, and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I'm thrilled that you got into the Post COVID Care Clinic at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

You'll notice that I moved your post to this existing discussion

I did this so you can connect with others who have been there. I'd also like to encourage members like @cavera @ldropps @remnant1 @baker00l @liz58 @jennifergillan03 to add their experiences to help you prepare, including how long you should be prepared to stay at Mayo Clinic your first visit.

My understanding is that when you first come to Mayo Clinic’s Post COVID 19 Care Clinic, you begin by meeting with a provider who completes a thorough evaluation, including discussing your medical history and current symptoms, and doing a physical examination. The information learned during the evaluation is used to help develop a personal treatment plan.

Baseballmama, what are you main post-COVID symptoms? What question would you like to ask fellow members?
