Hello everyone. I just got a laser iridotomy 2 weeks ago. The doctor told me I was going to get blind if I didn't, and advice me to do it as a preventive method. I am 27 , and I work with computers, so I decided to do it since there weren't any big side effects ( according to the doctor). I also have pain in my eyes, specially in my right eye. I can't stare at the computer for longer than 10 minutes or any other screen, my right eye feels numb, heavy, and difficult to move, and I have a terrible light sensitivity. I am going to check with other specialists, and try to find an answer . I will be posting any updates that can help.

I recognize exactly the pain and sensation you describe, but I have another condition (map dot fingerprint). Maybe let a doctor have another look, you might have some damage on your cornea.

I was advised by my doctor to get the procedure too and I was wondering why there's no other alternatives like drops or any medication first. I am contemplating of doing it but she said I will go blind if I don't do it!
