T cell prolymphocytic leukemia/lymphoma

Responding to chemo well. Can Mayo clinic help me reach full remission? For good? My oncologist is enthusiastic about it. But I made the mistake of looking this malady up on the internet. Needless to say, what I read was less than encouraging. Anyone have any idea's?

Hi @rupertvalde Checking in with Dr Google can be pretty intimidating and usually not a good thing to do. But I know how it is, knowledge is power and so we try to find out all we can about our conditions. I’m glad to hear you’re responding well to the chemo. But I’m sure you want to know where to go from there.

What I would suggest is following through with your idea of a second opinion from Mayo Clinic. Use this link http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
It will take you to Mayo’s site for requesting an appointment. You can select which campus would be most convenient for you, then place the call.

What were your symptoms? Did this come on quickly?

My husband has this and is taking treatments at UAMS in Little Rock. Dr Henry Wong has studied this cancer for many years. We just finished a drug trial for E777 and having good results. We are now one week a month instead of two.
