Vuelvo con un espíritu menos alegre hoy. He tenido molestia y dolor abdominal, duermo mal y algo de náuseas. Me llama la atención que ahora tengo más molestias que los primeros días. Mi papá ha tenido una complicación que parece es frecuente y le causa mucho dolor. Una recolección de líquido alrededor del injerto. Esperamos ahora el resultado del laboratorio y que no haya orina sino solamente restos de la cirugía. 🙏

@luna69, I hope that your days and nights will be improving soon.
At just a week after your surgery your abdominal discomfort could be related to the procedure. Did your surgical team prescribe any pain medications? Might this be the cause of the nausea? It is my understanding that the pain should become less as you continue to heal, and the medications are reduced. Have you spoken to your doctor about your abdominal discomfort?
Before I had my transplant, I was informed that the new kidney might take a while before it began to function. I was prepared for the possibility of continued dialysis until it did begin to function on it's own. Everybody responds differently, and I hope that your dad will soon find comfort and that his new kidney will begin to produce urine.
I am thinking of you and keep you in my prayers as you wait for results.
