@tct my guess would be the bun. As my AFib got worse and worse I had to avoid anything that causes a glucose spike, so no bread, no desserts, no alcohol on an empty stomach...now, if I eat my steak and veggies first, then I can get away with a few sips of wine or a bite of dessert. I finally started wearing a CGM to keep an eye on it and know what other sneaky things were raising my blood sugar.
