I use the Epley maneuver regularly. I have had BPPV for many years, and the Dizzy and Balance clinic OT told me that most of the time if it reoccurs it is the same ear time after time. It is true for me.
Also, over time I have learned that I have "warnings " of a coming episode. Mine are a feeling of fullness in head or ears, increased ringing in ears especially when lying down, and twinges of dizziness when turning quickly.
If I begin doing the Epley maneuver 2-3 times a day, I can often avoid a full episode. That happened this week as we were about to leave on a road trip and I will continue to do it twice a day until we get home.

Thanks for the info about possible reoccurrence. I do get those 3 feelings at times, but attribute it to my hearing loss; I wear hearing aides. Hoping it never comes back because the dizziness, nausea is an awful experience that I wouldn’t wish on any person! (I saved that video just in case)
