I had the Epley Maneuver by ENT office a few years ago & it worked well & was such a relief! It was well worth the $100 cost. Medicare didn’t cover it by ENT; but later I found out that if done by P.T. then Medicare will cover. (I think I could do that video above, after experiencing it by provider but important to know which side!)

I use the Epley maneuver regularly. I have had BPPV for many years, and the Dizzy and Balance clinic OT told me that most of the time if it reoccurs it is the same ear time after time. It is true for me.
Also, over time I have learned that I have "warnings " of a coming episode. Mine are a feeling of fullness in head or ears, increased ringing in ears especially when lying down, and twinges of dizziness when turning quickly.
If I begin doing the Epley maneuver 2-3 times a day, I can often avoid a full episode. That happened this week as we were about to leave on a road trip and I will continue to do it twice a day until we get home.
