"Dents" in leg muscles
Developing dents in muscles of lower right leg - when I rub my leg, feel like a there's a hole in muscle and it is actually visible - saw reflection in store window. . . Surprised me for sure! I very frequently have terrible cramps/burning/stinging/"electric" pains in my legs and feet. Wondering if my muscles are sort of disintegrating. Anyone else know what I am talking about?

I also have a dent in my upper middle part on my thigh, it's causing me pain continuously. Mostly my thigh to my hip but it shoots down to my foot. Sometimes it gets to the point to where I can not walk. I've been having health issues but since I'm so young my doctor barley listens 😅
Welcome @loveall117514, You mentioned you are having continuous pain in the upper middle part of the thigh. It sounds similar to tendonitis.
"Quadriceps or Hamstring Tendonitis
Overuse and repeated stress to your thigh muscles may cause inflammation in your tendons. This condition is known as tendonitis. Symptoms of quad or hamstring tendonitis include: Pain in the front or back of your thigh, usually near your knee or hip."

Sorry to hear your doctor isn't listening to you. It might be worth talking with your doctor again and maybe write down your questions before the visit and plan your conversation with the doctor. There are some good tips here:

Have you thought about getting a second opinion?
Thank you for your thoughts, I've had tendinitis before and this feels different. The pain stems from the dent in my leg and if there is any pressure near the dent numbness and pain and burning runs threw my leg. And I've tried writing down questions and concerns but my doctor continues to say I'm to young to be having these problems. I would get a second opinion but I feel like doctors think I'm looking for something wrong with me when actually I know there isn't something right with my body and I want to find a solution so I can be a normal mom to my kids..
I wouldn't let one doctor with no answers get you down. You certainly know your body and the pain better than the doctor when it comes to something not being right with your body. If possible, I would seek a second opinion or help at a teaching hospital or major health facility.
Thank you, and I will try to get a second opinion! I've had to go to the hospital before around my area because of horrible pain and they refused to check me out and said it was my anxiety and to go to my primary care physician it wasn't their job to deal with my problems... I've had multiple doctors treat me horrible.. it's made me feel like I don't know my body and I've started trying to ignore it because apart of me is starting to think it's in my head..
My dr and PT both tell me I am not working hard enough. I have not walked in 7 months except in a walker with my pt behind me with the belt on me. Got to re-train the nerves to send the message to the brain. It's all conected.
They are connected, and our old brains can be hard to re-train. Keep up the hard work, I can’t wait to hear when they can let go of that belt they have on you!
Hang in there! My cousin has had endless challenges the past 3 years, neuropathy, diabetes, dialysis, then fell and broke BOTH legs and ended up in a nursing home. It took him months to be able to stand again, more months to begin walking...now he is able to walk short distances (200 feet) unaided. He will probably never walk without a walker, but is looking forward to leaving the wheelchair home when his kids take him out to eat.

Thank you all the others for your words of encouragement. good to hear from you Sue, Dan P
I am having a similar situation and no one knows that it is. I had one in my calf, now this morning I woke up with dents under both knees that literally were not there yesterday. I have had tingling, numbness, pins and needles in mostly my left calf. I did an EMG, and it was normal, but the orthopedic said the neurologist did not test the muscle of interest. I can't get an appointment until a week from now and I am kind of freaked out. Some of the pictures on this thread look similar to what I have, so I thought I would see if anyone was able to get an answer on what these are? Much appreciated!
