Does anyone think restasis (eye drops) is helpful?

I have had severe dry eyes for about 3 years. Finally, in mid April of 2022 the opthomologist prescribed Restasis. It took 3 weeks to get insurance approval. He said it takes about 3 months for them to work. So far, I have tolerated them well, but eyes are still dry - especially at night. Hoping the next month makes a huge difference!

For the night there are cremes available. In Europe we have Hylo Night and Duratears which work very well.

I’m using Restasis twice a day for Sjogrens and at night I apply a warm moist pack to my eyes to encourage the oil glands to lubricate. The warm pack is very relaxing and it makes a difference. I was told the eeatasis is for inflammation.
