I've also had the problem with colonoscopy prep because of a tortuous colon. They did an unsuccessful colonoscopy in April and an unsuccessful barium enema in May. I've had blood in my stool for months but nobody can see more than 50% of my colon because it loops so much. The blood is not bad when the stool is softer but it rarely is. I have a meeting with the colonoscopy Dr. but not til July 20. They have not really seemed to be in much of a hurry to do anything so I try not to worry...
I did get pretty cleared out for the barium enema they just had me take a bunch of miralax the morning of it.
