What are you reading?
What books do you want to read this year? I’ve just gotten on a waitlist at my local library to borrow Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals. There are 7 copies available and I’m 42nd on the list, so I should be able to get this book by the end of the year. 😂

I am feeling better, will see the dermatology PA next week, will see how that goes. Will let you know. I am reading a finny children' s book on my desktop Kindle, called the Horrible Chocolate and Anne Tyler' Digging to America. My son introdiuced me to her, He thought I was just one of the characters in Accidental Tourist.
Hi, Carollee. I borrow books from my local library using an app called Overdrive on my phone,I don't have anything like an iPad. My favorite genre is Christian fiction, but I also like the Mary Russell, Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R. King, Agatha Christie, and occasionally Ngaio Marsh. But my all-time favorite series is At Home in Mitford by Jan Karon. Dee Henderson, Terri Blackstock, Francine Rivers aand Jerry Jenkins are some of my favorite authors. The Fairlawn series by Angela Hunt is also very good.
For non fiction, I highly recommend Max Lucado, Charles Swindoll, and F. LaGard Smith.
Hope that gives you some ideas. Happy reading!
I am reading The Last White Rose A Novel of Elizabeth of York by Alison Weir. I love reading historical novels & have enjoyed several of Alison's previous books. I'm on a first name basis with our local librarians. Love my books...love my library!
Have you read any of Lauraine Snelling's books? Christian fiction series takes place in Blessing, ND, begins with emigrating from Sweden, I believe. A family one can enjoy getting to know.
Hi!
No, I'm not familiar with that series. I'll see if my library has it.
Thanks❣
I hke Laura Childs and Cleo Coyle too, Also love Amish fiction.
We had a trade in bookstore in one of the towns that I lived in and there was a big book case of Agatha Christie. I read the whole book case and got the missing books at the library-read everything by her. I like M.C. Beaton a lot and Maeve Binchey. I read all fo Pear Buck when I was growng up and gave girlfriend severak armloasds of cozies. I am working all of Maeve Binchley's books now. Her books are very heartwarning.
Wow! Good for you! I haven't heard of a couple of those authors, I'll have to check them out. ❣
I'm currently reading Verity by Colleen Hoover. I also enjoyed It Ends with Us by same author.
I also liked The Last Flight by Julie Clark. It's a tale of switched identities.
I mispelled a few words, hard to see what I write because of Glaucoma. Hope that you are feeling good today!
