@pkon

I’ve had myasthenia Gravis for about 30 yrs and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a year ago. Can anyone share the pros and cons in there treatment if both. I was have IVIGs for about 10 yrs and just stopped last August due to insurance problems. My MG is doing pretty good except for Ptosis with my eyes. Ian not taking anything right now for the MG (waiting on insurance approval for new drops that came out). I am however taking glipizide for the diabetes, having a hard time keeping my numbers down, even with watching my carbs and sugar. Would love some input from others.

Welcome @pkon. Managing multiple chronic conditions, for example myasthenia gravis and type 2 diabetes can be challenging, both in terms of treatment and dietary needs.

@Erinmfs @ellen307 @dwp and others may be able to offer insights on your questions.

I sure hope the insurance issues get worked out soon to get you the medications you need for MG.

I am having good results with both MG symptoms and Type 2 diabetes since I started adding berberine to my daily diet
