Taking over the counter pain meds should be fine. My brother took all the over the counter pain meds and settled on Advil. Depending on what if any side effects you have from Gabapentin muscle relaxants are likely to increase those effects. Especially drowsiness and may cause balance problems increasing your fall risk and other possible side effects.

2 ReactionsI am prescribed Gabapentin and hydrocodone for pain. I take 400mg Gab every 6 hours and 2 7.5mg norco every 4 hours. The norco has 325mg tylenol per tablet. So 650mg. And yes you can take together. Mine have been prescribed like this for years. Gab does cause side effects for me.

Yes I take both of them 3-4 times a day my gabapentin is 600 mg
