Any prescription that relieves swelling, numbness, stabbing, weakness for one that has liver cirrhosis?

What is neuropathy? What is the best way to check on the liver?

I have liver disease and neuropathy, as well as other conditions. I am unable to tolerate many medications and supplements and have multiple food sensitivities, so I take a number of different approaches to symptom reduction.

Arnica gel moderates the burning and inflammation of my neuropathy in the short term. I use Boiron’s Arnicare, but there are other preparations available.

Yes, slow moving. I'm looking for a prescription to help and safe.

Hi @tamaralynnjordan : I have same concern in my health mix. My Neurologist has me on Gabapentin, as it is supposedly metabolized by the kidneys vs liver, but you may want to ask and confirm. I have been on it for almost 6 years, and compared to where I started from, it had given me better comfort for pain, numbness, tingling, heat & cold sensitivity, night sweats etc. I wish I could try more things, but have to guard my liver. That’s where this site has been wonderful; a lot of experienced folks sharing what other things have worked for them and are safe to try as we figure out what works best for ourselves. Good luck with this journey!

Yes on Gabby and Tramadol. Not good help. Bless you and yours.
