My story is almost identical to yours. Just this past Feb as I sat in my car I suddenly went deaf in my left ear and all hearing replaced with tinnitus. Treatments didn't work. I'm through the shock, still grieving the loss, but trying to get back to somewhat normal. Looking into Osia implant.
