Morning bruceandruth1970~
Hope your day is starting out well.
I googled and found that "Life Extension"..indeed did have bone-building formulas and then I saw that Dr. Stephan Strum was endorsing his own formula..also has an ancillary strontium one. Look for the one with his name on the bottle..in big letters! I'm going to order it soon....just finishing up a bottle of "Bone-up"....Knowing Dr. Strum's background and dedication to his profession...I feel incredibly lucky to have found something he created to take. I have full confidence in this man. As I've mentioned..he saved my husbands life in 2002, when he had stage 4 prostate cancer. My husband and Dr. Strum spent a lot of time together to come up with a plan of attacking his serious cancer. My dear husband passed last year, not from cancer, but Parkinson's with LBD....
I looked at a lot of the vibration plates out there and settled on the "Life-Pro" one...they offered a variety of models, sizes, prices and a lifetime warranty. I got the 'waver', blue model...had to join Amazon Prime to get all the discounts and free delivery...but was well worth it. It weighs about 23lbs..BUT, has a handle and a roller for very easy moving. The fed-ex guy put it on my door threshold and I slid it in and out of the box...ready to go..no set-up. One of you on this post ordered a 'mini' version of this same machine..it's the same concept..but a bit lighter. Hope to hear from her about her experiences with it. I enjoy using it in front of my chair when I sit down...feels wonderful! I use it standing..still in phase 1 and 2...there are foot placings on the plate that go from a walking vibration to a jogging one..then to a running mode....it has a 15 automatic timer on it. I go from a warm-up, standing position in the walking mode...then shifting my feet wider to the jogging mode..and then wider yet to the running mode...wow!...then I reverse and go back through the modes to the walking one..to slow it all down and relax....
I just had cataract surgery, so I haven't been using the machine standing..but have used it while sitting and in the lowest vibration mode....just to relax....nice.
I'm scheduled to get my DEXA this July....finger's X'ed!
Wishing you well!
