Well...rubyz...you are a wisp..what we call, affectionately.."bird-boned"....
The data coming from studies done by NASA has proven that we have to be able to apply 4.5x our body weight to 'wake up' our bones! Now..how are you going to do that safely? Not so fast....could you do resistance training with 508.5lbs of pressure...I think not....
You might try and gain some weight..safely...eating more quality foods and more proteins. Also, check into vibration plates. There is a hz number that is very good for waking up our muscles and bones to start to re-build..also coming from NASA's studies. I have the LifePro waver machine and love it! It has so many different phases that I haven't even explored yet. Even with this machine..I watch what I do with it...taking it easy..as it's a very powerful machine and at it's higher limits could also shake me a bit too much..so I'm starting out slow and listening to my body. I made a spelling error..I got the 'bed-buddy" wraps...feels wonderful!! I think these can also be found at Walmart..and Amazon.
Keep a smile on your face...you're doing great...keep moving and enjoy your days.

I was scared for a hot minute. Imagine my relief to find I was only "bird-boned" and not "bird-brained." I might lose my job if the latter were true (even though I'm sure it is from time to time). Unfortunately, the weight loss is due to a chronic condition called microscopic colitis. I wish I could gain weight, as does most everyone with this condition. The only way anyone typically does is on budesonide (a steroid) which adds to the bone density problem over time. On the protein bandwagon now after years of vegetarianism. Read the studies on vibration plates.. doesn't seem like there is anything definitive in the literature, but I appreciate the recommendations. Will look into LifePro and bed buddy too. Thank you!

I am wondering if you could share a link to the NASA studies or what is the hz recommended? Thank you and best wishes on your journey.
