I see that you do have a lot of experience in your family with vertigo! Yes, those exercises you suggested are very good, Vertigo is an "unfortunate" problem as you stated. It tends to stick around and needs a lot of attention. The at-home exercises are always good. I, too, feel empowered when I can do something to help myself and not rely on meds and doctors for the total answer to my health issues.

I think that the head maneuver that you mentioned might be called the Brandt-Daroff exercise. I've used that as well. Here is a YouTube video

Yes, that is the same video I used!

I tried all the different maneuvers and chose this because it was easy on my neck, easy to remember and easy to do a few times/day.
